Basic - Selects a country that is not covered in this course and minimally describes at least three somewhat appropriate resources to be used to extract information for the Final Paper. The descriptions of the resources are underdeveloped.

Below Expectations - Selects a country and attempts to describe resources to be used to extract information for the Final Paper; however, the country is covered in this course, the resources are not appropriate, and/or  the descriptions of the resources are significantly underdeveloped.

Non Performance - The selection of the country and the description of the resources are nonexistent or lack the components described in the assignment instructions.

Distinguished - The length of the paper is equivalent to the required number of words.

Proficient - The length of the paper is nearly equivalent to the required number of words.

Basic - The length of the paper is equivalent to at least three quarters of the required number of words.

Below Expectations - The length of the paper is equivalent to at least one half of the required number of words.   

Non-Performance - The assignment is either nonexistent or lacks the components described in the instructions.
